Contemporary Style

For the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month we use a more contemporary style of worship.   Here the songs are often newer with the words projected on the screen (Books and large print versions available for those that have vision problems) and the songs are sung in blocks.   Music is usually provided by a music group (guitars, drums and piano or electric organ, with vocal accompaniment)  For the 2nd Sunday again the Junior Church leave for their time in the schoolroom after the first block of songs.

The fourth Sunday is cafe style and starts 30 minutes earlier, when breakfast is served.   Breakfast consists of bacon or sausage sandwiches, with fruit and/or cereal, and coffee or tea.

These services are also the Brigade parade service and are all age worship where the young people stay for the entire service where they are encouraged to participate.
